HRISTO CHUCHEV AWARDED BY BEST BRAND AWARDS
The fashion brand Hristo Chuchev Design received the Best Brand Awards in Fashion category. The prize for Hristo Chuchev was presented personally by Prof. Lubomir Stoykov, President of the Academy of Fashion. Best Brand Awards are awarded on the basis of consumer segment research and the professional opinion of PR specialists, journalists and marketing specialists. The official ceremony took place on December 19th at Oligarch Club in Sofia. Designer Hristo Chuchev's dresses were dressed by Mariana Marinova, Chief Organizer of the Best Brand Awards, as well as the host - Tsveti Razlojka. Prior to the awards, a show with selected dresses by Hristo Chuchev was also shown, including Geri Doncheva.

GUCCI WITH NEW FRAGNANCES – THE ALCHEMIST’S GARDEN
When Alessandro Michele joined Gucci as Creative Director, the beauty industry was delighted to learn that, besides a fashion innovator, the designer was fond of his aromas. In 2017, he introduced a new perfume - Bloom, and in 2019 he continued this trend with a collection of 14 strong fragrances created in partnership with Alberto Morillas.
The pharmacy-style collection consists of seven perfumes, three scented waters and four perfume oils, each with a different individuality. The products are designed so that there are 48 combinations available for getting new flavors. "Just play with the scents to find your best one just like an alchemist would work to find the golden formula," says Morillas.

BABS SIMPSON DIES AT 105 YEARS
Former Vogue Editor Babs Simpson died at the age of 105. Her nephew George confirmed her death on January 7, 2019 in New York. Mrs. Simpson, as she wanted to be known as, worked with many of the fashion titans in the 25 years she was editor of "Vogue." She will never be forgotten in the magazine after it became part of the documentary "In Vogue: The Editors Eye" in 2012, followed by a book. "She’s a legend in the corridors of Vogue, as it should be," said Anna Wintour.

ALTUZARRA CELEBRATES 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Thinking back to his Fall 2009 debut last month, Altuzarra recalled, “I was on the floor the entire time because we had eight pairs of shoes for 12 models, and we were trying to figure out how to rotate them between the girls, who all had different size feet. For one, we’d have to add Kleenex, then we’d have to take it out for the next model. It was just like a puzzle. I remember it vividly.” In 2019, Altuzarra is an up-and-comer no longer—he’s certainly not wrestling with slingbacks and ankle booties backstage. On February 12 marks the 10-year anniversary of the brand.
The jubilee will be celebrated with a limited collection called The One That Got Away. It includes 10 models from older collections, picked from his friends.

TOP MODEL JANA YANEVA BECOMES THE FACE FOR A WORLDWIDE DESIGNER
The beautiful Jana, winner of the title - Miss Bulgaria Universe 2012, which managed to impress US President Donald Trump, has received another world recognition. Syrian born designer, Karam Daya, whose creations are in the "haute couture" category, chose the top model of Jana for his new face. The exotic beauty replaced Nikoleta Lozanova and shines in the last photo shoot for the new collection of the world famous designer, the models Daya presents are boutique with handmade elements from the East.

KEYSHIA KA’OIR WORE A DRESS WITH A MILLION CRYSTALS
Keyshia Ka’oir and her husband, Gucci Maine, often dress with similar clothes. On the birthday of the model, the couple did not make an exception. The rapper was dressed in a Dolce & Gabbana suit and his half in a red-haired dress by Lebanese designer Charbel Zoe. Embroidered with more than 1 million Swarovski crystals, the dress weighs 45 pounds, and in it, Keyshia looks stunning.

ADAM LAMBERT IS THE MOST STYLISH MAN FOR 2018
The most stylish men for 2018 are Adam Lambert, Engin Akyürek and Johnny Depp, according to the Be Global Fashion Network ranking. Throughout the year, the fans voted for more than 300 celebrities, with 21 left in December, including Keanu Reeves, Tom Hiddleston, Cliff Richard, Gerard Butler and others. And while Adam Lambert and Johnny Depp were mostly supported by the United States and English-speaking fans, Engin Akyürek was backed by Hispanic speakers and there were many fans from Hungary who sent his name to confirm their voices.
