* Two years online magazine Fashion Lifestyle Magazine
* * Rate of the most visited publications

On August 1, 2007, the first issue of our bilingual online magazine Fashion Lifestyle Magazine appeared in the World Wide Web. We are glad that 24 months later we can say “Congratulations” on the basis not only of historical and chronological indexes but also of pride of our journalistic and editorial successes. The fact that we exist and Internet users read our magazine is due to both teams which publish it – Ot Igla Do Konetz Ltd and Fashion.BG Ltd as well as to the useful cooperation with tens of authors, correspondents and commentators. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of them!

What do we see if we look again at the most visited publications? Which rubrics and which publications grabbed the most of the readers’ attention? We must point the fact that the most privileged are the articles from the initial issues of the online magazine. The ten most visited articles for the period are:

It is curious to know which topics and subjects have grabbed our readers’ attention? These are the names from Bulgarian fashion such as Alia Milousheva, Evgenia Jivkova, Milka Alexandrova – Buchi, Sofia Borissova, Maria Doychinova, Desizo Monni, Miro, Bipone, Kwiat mong others; themes like the annual award of the Academy for fashion – Golden Needle, the new meaning of dress, comfort and bohemian chic in Bulgarian fashion, school uniforms among others. The interviews that grabbed the most the readers’ interest are those with Elie Saab, Sofia Borissova, Rachel Bilson, Franceska Lavazza and Kate Moss. Among the hits in the rubric Fashion News are the contest “Become face of Kwiat”, the presentation of Markam fashion house in Düsseldorf, and the kiss contest among others. The diversity of youth values and subcultures are also very interesting to our audience. Except in gothic subculture, our readers are also interested in fashion subculture, piercing suvculture, emo and scene – the different versions of youth diversity. Being aware of the importance of the accessories you have shown great interest toward diadem, shoes, hats and sunglasses.

The analyses of biography and work of which designers are the most visited? Except the publication about Dolce and Gabbana, these are also the materials about Giorgio Armani, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino and Miuccia Prada. It seems that the style of Nicowa is the most interesting material from Tendencies rubric, followed by the proposals of the world designers for the season spring-summer 2009 and the fresh, sporty and sexy manner of Sloggi. The fact that you are able to appreciate Bulgarian beauty is shown in your preference for the rubric about photo models – Geri Doncheva, Kate Moss, Gisele Bundchen, Christina Nestorova and Iveta Vankova.

Materials dedicated to photography are among the most visited. You have show the greatest interest toward such masters of camera such as Patrick Demarchelier, Stefan Andreev, Lilya Yotova, Mario Testino and Nacho Kamenov. We are glad that you are not indifferent to such important social themes like sex, family and marriage. The most visited among them are Attention! Parents under stress (Galina Kondova), Easter for purifying from the human sins (Silviya Madina), Fashion family (Katia Mihaylova), The secrets of ancient family (Katia Mihaylova).

In Business rubric, the most visited publication is Triumph underwear has new corporate image followed by news about Zara, Prada, Gap among others. Texts, dedicated to Vogue, to the museum of Bath, to the ethno-chic collection of Christian Lacroix, shown in the Metropolitan museum are leaders in History rubric. There is an increasing interest toward our new rubrics Culture and Media - we have showed our interest to spread the themes of „Fashion Lifestyle Magazine”. Even with this incomplete look of the publications in our magazine, published for the past two years, we can point at least three tendencies in the readers’ interests and preferences. The first one is that our readers appreciate Bulgarian fashion and is very interested in its dynamics, successes, strong and weak sides.

The second tendency shows the importance of such factors as informal ideas and manifestation of subculture in style, accessories, details and of course the role of the authors of collections – the fashion designers. The third tendency is relevant to the place that occupies the new generation of young designers and also to the fact that Bulgarians appreciate beauty – physical, spiritual. It is not by accident that Bulgarian woman is among the most beautiful in the world. Probably it is possible to make other conclusions, regarding the preferences toward the publications in our magazine. Our readers are intelligent and their interest to lifestyle and everyday culture is not just a matter of curiosity to fashion news and seasonal tendencies. They perceive fashion as beauty, art, business (and also industry, entertainment, diversity) and are not able to separate it mechanically from such important areas of civilization such as culture and media.

By congratulating once again the second birthday of „Fashion Lifestyle Magazine” I would like to wish to the entire team of the magazine, to all our readers, sponsors and advertisers health, power, love and well-being! God bless you!
