There isn’t a mistake, you have read it correctly. In time, when the planet suffers from human activity and we talk very often of exhaustion of the natural resources, the need of usage of eco materials is the more and more acute. In 2004 two Americans create company that uses the bamboo as a resource for making of clothes. The scale is very various – everyday clothing for men and women, even underwear.

It is found to be that the bamboo is one of the most resistant resources of worldwide significance. The plant keeps the record of the fastest growing – about meter per day. Besides it is not a tree, but a kind of grass that forms new sprouts without engrafting. The bamboo accepts more than five times hothouse gases and produces 35% more oxygen in comparison with the wood species. In this way it is a perfect ally against the fight with the global warming.

The material, created from bamboo is soft and fine like a silk, but it is more practical, because it is not so expensive and it is most durable. According to some affirmations the bamboo is the new cotton – it is antibacterial and it isn’t retentive of humidity. Thanks to its specific structure – matrix with microscopic rifts, the material of bamboo allows to the skin to breathe and to regulate the temperature.

In fact, the inventors of the bamboo material are Ksiangki Zu, Ceng Lui and Hao Geng. In 2003 they discover the technology of the transformation of the bamboo fiber in thread – they warm up the plant material to 80-90 degrees, after that they soak it in mixture of soap and oil; they dry it and humidify it again with another mixture of oils.
