ARISTOCRATIC SPLENDOR AND TENDER ELEGANCE

* Brilliant collection of “My lady” and “Pronovias”, Maria Nedkova and “Miro”, “Kwiat” and “Triumph”, students of the National Academy of Art, “Bipone” (Vienna) and Alya Milusheva - “Astella Atelier”.

On the Eve of the Christmas and New Year’s holidays was holding the charitable premiere of “Almanac of Bulgarian Fashion 2008” under the respect patronage of the first lady Mrs. Zorka Parvanova. Author and compiler of the almanac is prof. Lubomir Stoykov, chairman of the Academy for Fashion. The event was hold at “House 2” of Boyana Residence and like an annual tradition it was with a charitable character. The first three almanacs were sold out at a preliminary auction with bidding - officially numerated and signed by the author copies of the book. The premiere was accompanied with a splendor review-show in which a lot of Bulgarian designers and fashion houses took part with theirs newest collections.

“Bridal Fashion” boutique presented the Spain fashion giant “Pronovias”. The cloths of this brand are favorite of a lot of world celebrities. Main designer is the creative Manuel Mota who is known as the stylist of the Spanish aristocracy. Established names of the world fashion like Elie Saab and Valentino also work for “Pronovias” collection. The dresses are splendor but with deliberate chic and sex-appeal. The retro shades exhale from the brilliant fine laces often cotton or silk, which make the line aristocratic but at the same time innocent and youth charming.

“My lady” is for first time on the East-European market. The Israeli fashion house offers a collection of wedding and official corsets, skirts and dresses.

In the world production the brand is using the oldest French technique for making corsets, combined with the most fashion current technology as special bending of metal bulks and the thermal treatment of the patterns.

The Italian laces, “Swarovski” crystal and pearls are made by special order of the fashion house. The use of method: “combine and mix” gives to every woman the chance to combine in a personal desire busk and skirt so she can have a unique outlook.

The collection of fashion house “Miro”, winner of the “Golden Needle” award of the Academy for Fashion, is directed to the romantic lady, who is trying to keep her style and expression even in the everyday life. Business cloths are diversified by original details. Romantic flounces and original drapes on the materials are a fresh accent in the business cloth. Miro’s offers for the holiday night are mini-dresses and high-waist. The colors are purple, graphite grey, white and black.

The Bulgarian brand for glasses “Kwiat” showed that it has three main accents, which will strongly impress next year: transparent plastic materials, the combination of black or white with golden and also the extravagant details and colors – lila, orange or red. The offers of “Kwiat” and “Kwiat Exclusive” stay in front of the world trends with their strong and really for long presence of stones, crystal or ornaments on the frames and the gradating semi- transparent mirror glasses. The metal frames are mat, predominating is the golden color in its all shades. One more year the volumetric forms are dominating. Very popular are the practical varieties of the kidney and the mask.

The world giant “Triumph” elaborated specially for the young ladies the element called “Miss Triumph”- the models are in a wide range are appropriate for different preferences and moods. Styles are varying from brave-provocative to romantic and retro-nostalgic.

The offers of “Fashion” series are distinguished by extremely feminine and elegance. Beautiful warm colors - different shades of dark-red and brown as well as classic black and materials of high quality – elastic laces, one-colored and semi-colored embroideries over tulle and sateen ribbons are charming additions. “Triumph” offers real temptations in black and red for the holiday night. The fabrics are luxurious; the cuts offer perfect neckline - and the additions of sateen and discreet threads of lurex or small stones – give real holiday mood.

The duo Biliana and Petar Pelovi works for “Biopone design atelier” in the center of Vienna under the motto: “We are not making just cloths but objects of art!” Their collection of cocktail and evening dresses is designed for the numerous balls of Vienna and is made of textiles and fabrics considered with the world fashion trends. They combine silk, metal treads, French lace and fur. During the charitable premiere of “Almanac of Bulgarian Fashion 2008” “Bipone” also showed their model called “Football ballerina” which won the competition “11 Meters Fashion” connected with the European Football Championship in Austria and Swiss in 2008. “Bipone” are a representative face of the fashion project Blikfang Zurich – one of the biggest designer exhibitions in Europe.

Inspired by the colors, style and spirit of “Bombay Sapphire” , the designer Maria Nedkova –double winner of the “Golden Needle” award of Academy for Fashion – showed her exclusive collection of evening dresses, specially created for the royal drink. Elegance, fairy, exquisiteness, aristocracy and hot passions are woven in the Mediterranean blue shades. The dresses stress on the feminine line.

The luxurious official dresses of “Astella Atelier” with designer Alya Milusheva bring the sense of fairy romance and elegant tenderness combined with attention to the details and the perfect realization. The high quality of the Italian textiles, made by the order of the fashion house, combined with exquisite French lace and decorations of “Swarovski” stones dip everyone lady in the magic atmosphere of the high fashion.

Astella Atelier is official designer of the national competition “Miss Bulgaria”, for Ivet Fashion Top Models and Supermodels for Bulgaria. Designer Alya Milusheva became “Woman of the year 2006” in the field of fashion.
