An architectural walk

The architecture is an art that combines refinement and unity. The tendencies in the new architectural design impose the more and more strange and bizarre exterior. In the world there are many buildings that are untypical and unusual for the human perception.

In this issue of Fashion Lifestyle Magazine we will show you some of the strangest works of the architectural art that is worth seeing. They can be a point of support for planning of an interesting architectural walk.

A project of the new building of “Far East Organization” that will be realized at the end of 2008. It will be the most interesting architectural creature in Singapore. The building will be at 36 floors and it will be with altitude of 153 meters.

The company “Longaberger Basket” chooses the design of its factory in the shape of a basket. This decision was inspired by the striving of the company to raise its self-confidence at the market and to be remarked by the media. The building is made of windows and wood and its dimension is 160 times bigger than the real dimensions of a normal basket.

“Wonderworks” is an entertainment park of the mind where it has more than 100 interactive drawings. But what mostly provokes and shocks the human eye is the exterior of “Wonderworks”. The building represents a reversed old store from the 30s.

The strange building of the direction of “Fuji Television” is situated in Tokyo, Japan. It is built in 1996. It has 25 floors and it is high 125 meters.

The staff and the culture centre of the Central Chinese Television are situated at area of 540 000 square meters. These are two huge interweaved buildings respectively at the Central Chinese Television and at the Culture TV Centre. The design of this construction is extremely new and it is characteristic for the Chinese architectural design.

This unique project in Dubai is called a dynamic architecture. The buildings follow the sun and they move depending on the wind. The nature itself gives them complete energy flexibility. The architecture goes round at 360 ° for more wide view to the world.

“Ocean Dome” is situated in Miyazaki, Japan. This is the biggest closed beach in the world with length of 300 meters and width of 100 meters. Its roof can be opened when the weather is good and when it isn’t – it imitates a wonderful blue sky. The temperature in the building is kept up 30° С. The machine for waves and the fine white sand strengthen the similarity of the pool with a sea beach.

This is one building that surely will attract your attention if you pass close to it. Its name is “Dancing House” and it is situated in Prague. It is a creature of a great architect from California who is inspired by the influence of the hallucinations on the human conscience.
