THE PROGRAM “MADE IN BULGARIA” BESTOWED THE AWARD “GOLDEN BULGARIAN ROSE”
* At the ball of the flowers famous Bulgarian ladies were honored with the high prize
For a third year in a row the program “Made in Bulgaria” bestowed the prestigious award “Golden Bulgarian rose”. Six of the most successful Bulgarian ladies that contributed to our national self-confidence and pride, were rewarded with the high prize. The statue of Rumen Jelev this year became a possession of dr. Pavleta Tabakova, Neshka Robeva, Stefka Kostadinova, Rayna Kabaivanska, prof. Aksinia Djurova and Sylvie Vartan. They were nominated in the national category, but in the unanimous decision of the expert council, all were honored with the high prize. The special award of the evening won the prima of the Bulgarian stage Lili Ivanova who doesn’t succeed to be present at the official ceremony, but she made a gift to the gusts with her video. The bearer of the award “Golden rose” in the world category became the first lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Alieva. She was nominated together with Monica Bellucci and Carla Bruni – Sarkozy. The first lady of Azerbaijan won the prize because of her activity like a president of the fund “Gaydar Aliev”. For her short history the fund realizes a number of projects, related with the building and the reconstruction of schools, school centers, help of very sick children and orphans, preservation of the culture-historical monuments. Mehriban Alieva is chosen for ambassador of UNESCO, ISESCO. She is a deputy in the parliament of Republic of Azerbaijan.
The ball of the flowers is organized from Adriana Tsaneva – author of the program “Made in Bulgaria” and Olga Uskova – president of producing house “New World Image”.
At the majestic gala evening was presented for first time in Europe the newest collection of the world famous designer Manuel Mota for the season spring-summer 2009. A representative of the brand in Bulgaria is Anelia Petkova – owner of boutique “Bridal Fashion”.
The unique toilets were presented in untraditional way, as in stead of models, with them marched by famous ladies. The fashion show was separated at four topical parts, symbolizing the year seasons. In the pauses the ballet-dancer from “Bolshoi Theater” Vlada Parfenova drew with a dance the pictorial beauty of every one of the seasons. In season Autumn marched by Desislava Banova – presenter of the weather forecast at “New television”, Natalia Bondarenko – owner of company “Atlas Style” and an editor of the magazines "Interior pazar", "Hubavite kushti", “AMS Aspekti”, “WAM” and the famous stylist Kremena Halvadjian. In “the winter” defile joint the famous Bulgarian actress Ania Pencheva, the jazz singer Kamelia Voche, Maria Teofilova – representative of “BIC” for Bulgaria, the presenter of the broadcast “Iskreno i lichno” at “New television” Miglena Chakrukchieva and “Mrs. Bulgaria Globe 2007” Mariana Marinova. The spring landscape was drawn by Ekaterina Duneva – “Mrs. Bulgaria 2007”, Albena Alexandrova – designer of fashion house “Roshavata garga”, the famous actress and singer Desi Tenekedjieva, Toni Raponska – director of “Show I zabavni programi” of “Channel 3” and Rumyana Marinova - “Mrs. Glove 2004”. In season Summer marched by Evgenia Trofimchuk – “Miss TV Russia”, famous ballet-dancer and choreograph of “Art Academia”, Ivelina Leonidova – construction entrepreneur, Denis Dimitrova – “Mini Miss Universe” and a face of “The international association of the blondes”. The surprise of the evening was the final dress of live flowers and butterflies, with which marched by Olga Uskova – president of “New World Image” and one of the organizers of the Ball of the Flowers.
The models of Manuel Mota showed up with original cuts, broken silhouette and color materials. The romantic models of silk organza predominated – “mantillas”, fine lace with golden embroideries, natural silk, hand-embroidered taffeta and crystals.
Among the guests of the vent was N. Pr. Elman Zeynalov – ambassador of Republic of Azerbaijan in Bulgaria, Hristo Mutafchiev, Stavri Klalinov, prof. Lubomir Stoykov, Valia Voikova, Gala, Petia Staevska, Pavel Tsvetkov and Edita Tsvetkova, Paola Apsi and others.
For the good mood of the guests took cares the ballet-dancers from the dance band “Pantera”, Peter and Aneta from the dance group of Neshka Robeva, the little ballet-dancers from the school of Masha Ilieva, the guitarist David and others.
For the beauty and the brightness of the marching ladies took cares the maker-up Ivo Jivkov and hairdressers “Dima Style”.
During the Ball was organized a charity auction of flowers, ensured form company “Tilia”. The means, collected during the charity action, will be given to “Fund of treatment of children” of prof. Ivan Chernozemski.

THE STARS OF BULGARIA “FOR GREEN UNIVERSE”
Alia Milusheva, Juliana Doncheva, Deo, Jeni Kalkandjieva and Niki Georgiev made a special video supporting the initiative of ELLE, directed against the polyethylene pouches. The video is accessible at the site of the campaign “For green universe” - www.rozali.com/zelleno. There the stars set an example how to use the bag for multiple usage of ELLE in their daily round, as they share why they lead a natural way of life. As a part of the educative campaign of the magazine, the video will be broadcasted in a number of Bulgarian schools.
Every reader of the magazine will receive also a bag ELLE as a gift in the July issue of the magazine. Then starts the photo competition, a part of the campaign, where the readers are invited to put in the gallery of www.rozali.com/zelleno till 24th of August their photo how they use the eco bag of ELLE. After a voting from the visitors of the site, the chosen finalists will receive eco-gift, and one of them will receive the big prize. In this way the magazine hopes to attract the attention of the readers on the problems of the reservation of the environment and to set and example how to live more eco with little efforts.
The polyethylene pouches, threw in the nature, walls of little plastic pieces that pollute the soil and the water, and over 100 000 birds and sea animals die every year because of this reason.
The eco initiatives of magazine “Elle” started with fashion show in March, where were presented the fashion tendencies of spring-summer 2008. The interior of the hall and the stage were made entirely with eco materials, and the guests received practice advices how to be more eco engaged. The June green issue of the magazine, that came out at 20th of May offers of the readers dozens of ideas how to be at the same time fashion and eco at every time and at every place, even in the private life. The issue shows interesting facts of the world of the eco fashion, the bio cosmetics, the hybrid automobiles, the eco style of the stars, “the green” perfumes. At 5th of June 2008 magazine “Elle” noticed the world day of the environment, as it showed for the first time to the readers the comfortable, foldable bag for multiple usage ELLE. In the frames of the day mobile “Elle” teams gave away more than 1000 bags at key locations in Sofia – the big Malls in the city, “Витоша” Blvd., the space in front of the National Place of Culture and Business Park Sofia. In this way the magazine “Elle” invoked more people to give their personal contribution to the preservation of the environment, as they will stop to use the polyethylene pouches for shopping that transforms in the more and more serious ecological and ethnical problem of the contemporary Bulgarian.
