CHINA FASHION WEEK WAS HELD WITHOUT AN AUDIENCE
During the China Fashion Week AW 2020 were presented collections of designers such as Peng Jing and Zhou Li, but in an empty hall. However, the venue was prepared as usual, as the show was broadcast live online. This followed the Shanghai Fashion Week, which went digital in March.
The online shopping site Secoo was the official partner of the event. He broadcast over 100 fashion shows and presentations online by May 7. Some events will also be available on Youtube. They are expected to reach 500,000 online viewers soon.

HOW TO WATCH THE GIORGIO ARMANI AUTUMN 2020 SHOW LIVE
Giorgio Armani said the autumn show of his brand was held behind closed doors, "given the recent development of the coronavirus in Italy." The performance took place on February 23 in an empty theater, without press and audience. It was broadcast live online at 16:00 CET / 10:00 EST.

WHAT DOES THE FIRST WEEK OF DIGITAL FASHION IN SHANGHAI MEAN FOR BRANDS AND DESIGNERS
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organizers of Shanghai Fashion Week broadcasted the entire event online. More than 150 designers and brands presented their collections from March 24 to March 30 through Tmall, Alibaba Group's e-commerce platform. Some of the participants joined in a video chat to share their inspiration with fans. The "See now, buy now" option was also available at the event, and consumers had the opportunity to purchase products from last season or pre-order new accessories and clothes from the autumn collections.
On the first day alone, the viewers reached 2.5 million, and by the end of the fashion week, the attendance of the event exceeded 11 million.

INNOVATIONS DURING FASHION WEEK 2020
With the development of the pandemic, designers had to apply their creativity not only to the collections, but also to how and where they would be produced and presented. Angel Chen created a collection at home and strategically presented a presentation on five different online platforms. The models were directed by Chen herself, coordinated via video link.

DIGITAL BOOK FOR DIGITAL FASHION SHOWS
London Men's Fashion Week will be replaced by a digital platform, which can be found on the LFW website. Digital Fashion Week will take place from June 12 to 14. The platform will provide members of the public and trade with access to interviews, podcasts and digital salons. Consumers will be able to buy from existing collections, and retailers will be able to order for next season. The future of fashion shows promises to be digitized.
