THE LATEST GANNI COLLECTION CANNOT BE PURCHASED - FOR RENT ONLY

Ganni has released a new collection that is available with a catch, not for sale. Customers can only rent the items, not buy them. The Danish brand has teamed up with the iconic brand Levi's to create an exclusive collection called "Love Letter", the first for both brands.

Shown at Copenhagen Fashion Week, the collection is "an ode to Levi's longevity and legacy," said a Ganni spokesman. The collection includes a style like the Scandi brand, which is known for its leopard prints, large collars and voluminous sleeves.

FILM INSTEAD OF A FASHION SHOW DURING COPENHAGEN FASHION WEEK

Stine Goya has created a special film for the House of Goya Spring 2021 collection featuring members of her own team as well as Copenhagen-based dancers, actors, musicians and artists. Ganni's creative director Ditte Reffstrup did the same, showing several of his new songs to the dancers in the brand's own film. Instead of a show or presentation, the brands also photographed employees and their families in the new look. Meanwhile, Emily Helmstedt installed a surreal heart sculpture in a central square and the models paraded around it in one of the few exhibitions of the week. The obscure heart-shaped sculpture will travel through Copenhagen.

LONDON FASHION WEEK HAS BEEN CONFIRMED

London Fashion Week will be held as planned - from 17 to 22 September, following government guidelines for social distancing. While most shows will be digital, there will be on-site presentations.

Designers for men's and women's clothing will be invited to participate in the gender-neutral showcase. The spring / summer 2021 collection will come to life on September 17 as a live physical performance. The event will also include online inclusions on londonfashionweek.co.uk.
