NATALIA VODIANOVA: SUPER MODELA ND SUPER MOTHER

Natalia Vodianova is a Russian model that established successfully in the fashion world and today she beautifies the covers of one of the most elite and luxurious fashion and lifestyle magazines. She was born in the Russian city Gorki and she has a difficult childhood. The model with a nickname “SuperNova” helps as to her mother who possesses a stand for vegetables, as to her sister who is an invalid.

At the age of 15 Vodianova starts to visit courses for models and participates in many castings. She receives and advice from French fashion agency to leanr quickly English language, because she has an enormous potential to become a model form world class. This urges on strongly the 17-year-old Natalia. Only for three months she leanrs the language and she goes to Paris, where she signs a contract with “Viva Agency”. Soon after that “Gucci” choose Natalia Vodianova for a face of its line of perfumes. After she participates in more than 40 defiles of world famous brands, Vodianova is invited by “Calvin Klein” for the summer show of the brand.

Natalia participates also in campaigns for the collections of “Louis Vuitton”, “L’Oreal”, “Marc Jacobs”, “Miss Sixty”, “Pepe Jeans”, “Calivin Klein”, as also for the fragrance of “Calvin Klein” “Euphoria”.
Natalia Vodianova beautifies a great number of covers of “Vogue”. She photographed and for many others world fashion magazines like “Elle”, “Numero”, “Telva” etc.

According to the chart of magazine “Forbs”, Vodianova is at 7th place among the richest models in the world. Her incomes for 2006 exceed $4,5 million. And in the chart for greatest supermodel in the world of “Chanel 5” she takes 14th place.

Natalia Vodianova is married to Justin Portman, who is a real estate heir in England. The couple has two sons – Lucas Alexander and Viktor and one daughter, christened to river Neva. Vodianova poses for the cover of “Vogue” with her daughter Neva.

Natalia Vodianova is a notable philanthropist – a fact to whom the March issue of the American “Vogue” pays a special attention.
