HIGH-TECH IN THE ACCESSORIES

“Live fast, die young, be a beautiful corpse„ - cruel, cynic... fashion proverb. Today everything is “fast”- the meetings, the partings, the love... The life doesn’t stop nor for a moment. We want everything now, right at this moment, without binding, without compromises, without unnecessary words. We live „at speed”, we live moving. And as tortoises we carry at back our house. Mobile, notebook computer, camera, player, photographic camera – in these devices is our whole life; they are as second DNA for us. If we lose them by accident and they get into another’s hands – woe is we! Their new possessor will know for us many things that we hide from the world. So, watch out for what you are writing.

The notion “high-tech” is very widespread and in Bulgarian language we can translate it as „last word of the technique”. High-tech is for everyone. But yet...
there is different type of people. Some of them prefer the simple, cleaned from too much functions high-tech devices; others are admirers of everything that is fashionable and new, while for others – they are the consecutive way to show to the world how they are „fashion”. The sizes of the electronic devices become smaller and smaller, the prices are falling and unfortunately it is very difficult to be „in step” with the fashion technologies, because always appear new devices.

The fashion and the design offer their hands. The technique is related forever with our life. New communication standards appeared – for example the technology „Bluetooth”. What was an absolute science-fiction some years ago is already fact – people talk at mobiles, drive in cars, supplied by the sun, wear clothes that don’t burn and don’t crease, use their players for listening to music and... something else.

The word „cyber” became a synonym of our life. We adore the machineries and we can’t imagine our daily round without them. Unfortunately, this makes us lazy, spiritless and forgetful. Sometimes we try even to compete with these our „good” friends. Who knows if the mouse will eat the book and the robot – the man? The most important rule in this case is that we don’t have to change in slaves of these devices, as we forget that they are meant to serve to us, but not the contrary.

One of the most prestigious technological events in the world is the exhibition Consumer Electronic Show ( CES ). This year it was organized in Las Vegas. We don’t have to forget that namely there, in 1990 for the first time is presented digital technology, and the next year – the CD. In 1996 the world sees for the first time the DVD.

The Bulgarian version of such kind of exhibition is ”Bait Expo” that is conducted already 14 years – scene of the novelties in the area of the information technologies and communications.
